Authorities of the ‘Miss Spain beauty contest’ changed their rules. Now the contest allows mothers to compete. This move is contrary to the decision of February 2007 to dethrone a 22-year-old beauty queen after it emerged that she had a child.

Angela Bustillo, who has a toddler son, won the title of Miss Cantabria, a region on Spain's northern coast. The organizers disqualified her citing rules that contestants cannot have children.

But the authorities had to change their stand after the decision sparked widespread outrage in the Spanish press. Several feminist organizations also came forward and supported the dethroned queen’s claim on the crown.

As the rule yet does not say anything on number of children; beauty queens are no more restricted. Good luck moms.
